Opti.Space Cancellation Policy

Regardless of whether the space is reserved for an hour or 6 months (or longer), Opti.Space ensures that fair booking conditions are provided for Owners and Clients.

HOW TO CANCEL A RESERVATION?

Client:

The client cancels the reservation via the Opti.Space website, as part of his user account created on the Opti.Space website. Within the user account, select the Cancel booking option.

Cancellation is final. In the event that the Client wishes to re-book the same (or another) business premises, he must go through the entire booking process again, as arranged on the website.

Owner:

Once the reservation of business premises has been entered into the Opti.Space system by the Client, the Owner cannot cancel the reservation.

In the event that the Owner is unable to provide the reserved business premises to the Client, it must:

  • at its own expense, find an alternative business premises that meets at least the same standards in terms of equipment and location, as the reserved business premises;
  • notify the Client of the change immediately via e-mail or via the communication channel provided by the Opti.Space website.

The alternative business premises must not represent any additional costs for the Client (i.e. a cost that would exceed the agreed cost of renting the first business premises).

In the event that the alternative business premises do not suit the Client for justified reasons (e.g. other location, less favourable access, different equipment, etc.), it may refuse to rent such premises without the obligation to pay any costs as provided for the Client in the event of cancellation of the reservation by this Cancellation Policy.

CANCELLATION COST (HOURLY AND DAILY RESERVATIONS):

Method of calculation:

In case of real-time billing, the reservation is charged upon confirmation.

In accordance with the Opti.Space policy, the Owners have the option of charging a monthly rent. In this case, the rental payment by the Client is made monthly, on the first day of the month for all bookings in the previous month.

The exact payment terms required by each Owner are listed at each individual location in the Payment Terms section. In case of monthly billing for reservations, Owner’s Payment and Terms document also defines until when can the Client cancel the reservation free of charge.

Cancellation costs (Client):

The exact conditions required by the Owner are listed at each individual location in the Payment Terms section. This document also defines how long the Client can cancel the reservation free of charge. Reservation cancelled by the Client within the deadline for the cancelation free of charge, will not be charged to the Client, all costs will be reimbursed to the Client.

Reservation cancelled by the Client after the deadline for the cancelation free of charge, full price for the lease will be charged to the Client, there will be no reimbursement of the costs to the client.

Cancellation costs (Owner)

In the event that the Owner cannot provide the Client with the use of the leased business premises, and the alternative business premises do not suit the Client for justified reasons, and at the same time the Owner’s actions incur any costs, the Client may request reimbursement of these costs from the Owner.

These costs may not exceed half of the amount as agreed in the total rental amount between the Owner and the Client.

CANCELLATION COST (MONTHLY RESERVATIONS):

Method of calculation:

Monthly reservations are charged at the time of booking for the first full month or otherwise proportionally distributed period.

Termination of the lease agreement (Client):

Cancellation fee: service prices and taxes paid by service Clients are non-refundable unless expressly stated in this Cancellation Policy.

Period of notice:

  • monthly lease: termination of the lease agreement is possible only if a multi-month lease has been agreed between the Client and the Owner. In such case, the Client must notify the Owner of the early termination of the lease agreement at least 15 days in advance. In the event that the Client does not do so within the specified period, the Client is obliged to pay the costs of services for the next month.

Termination of the lease agreement (Owner):

  • monthly lease: termination of the lease agreement is possible only if a multi-month lease has been agreed between the Client and the Owner. In such a case, the Owner must notify the Client of the early termination of the lease agreement at least 15 days in advance. In the event that the Owner fails to do so within the specified period, it is obliged to allow the Client to rent business premises for an additional month under the same conditions as agreed in the contract concluded between the Client and the Owner.
